County of Monterey, Deputy Public Defender I, II, III, IV

The Office of the Public Defender provides legal representation to indigent persons charged with crimes in Monterey County, ranging from the simplest misdemeanor to complex capital cases. The guiding principle of the office is that each client is entitled to the best outcome legally attainable. Our attorneys, investigators and support staff take great pride in providing a consistently high level of service.

ABA Rules of Law Initiative Opportunities
The ABA Rule of Law Initiative has a number of staff and consultant positions based in the U.S. and abroad.

ABA ROLI is currently seeking experienced judges, attorneys, and law professors with a minimum of five years of relevant experience, a high level of energy and initiative, strong interpersonal skills, and expertise in the substantive areas required by the relevant position. International experience and foreign language skills are preferred, but not required.
