Description of position available:

The Monterey County Public Defender's Office is seeking volunteer Law Clerks and Legal Assistants to help in the defense of our indigent clients charged with criminal offenses. Assist our lawyers with trial preparation, processing files, interviews clients, legal research, law and motion, and trial preparation. Interns/Volunteers must be willing to commit 16 hours per week.
