Deputy Public Defender V
Solano County is recruiting for Deputy Public Defender V, the position is described as: Under general direction, organizes, leads and participates in the practice of criminal/civil law in the defense of individuals accused of violating state and/or local laws. Positions allocated to this class are characterized by the responsibility to lead others and perform difficult assignments involving complex factual and legal issues. Assignments may include primary operational responsibility for felony and misdemeanor cases.

The San Francisco Public Defender's Office Seeks Entry Level Trial Positions

The SF Public Defender’s office seeks attorneys for entry level trial positions and attorneys with considerable felony trial experience to join its team of exceptional attorneys and support staff. Candidates must be highly motivated to do trial work and passionate about criminal defense.  Those candidates applying for senior trial positions will have strong litigation backgrounds and a demonstrated trial record.  Strong research, writing and communication skills are required.  California Bar membership is also required.  Salaries start at $98,514 with benefits.
